Our client is a leading Australian equities manager with over $5Bn under management; we are currently looking for 1-2 Analysts for their investment team. The successful candidate will play a key role in generating high-conviction investment ideas, predominantly for our client’s flagship strategy.

This is a research-intensive position requiring a strong passion for equities and investing. Analysts are expected to conduct detailed, bottom-up fundamental research and financial modelling from the ground up. The core focus is on long-only investments across a broad range of sectors.

The ideal candidate will have between 3-10 years of experience in either buy-side or sell-side equities, in addition to strong financial modelling and valuation skills. While sector expertise is welcome, the role is best suited to an adaptable investor who can cover a range of industries. This is not a training role, so the ability to independently analyse businesses and pitch well-researched stock ideas is essential.
