Key Responsibilities:

·      Handle incoming claims inquiries and process claims in line with established guidelines.

·      Assess and investigate claims to determine the validity and appropriate payout amounts.

·      Liaise with customers, assessors, repairers, and third parties to gather necessary information and

resolve claims efficiently.

·      Communicate claim outcomes and keep clients updated throughout the claims process.

·      Maintain accurate records of claims, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and internal

protocols.

·      Identify potential fraudulent claims and refer them to the relevant department.

·      Provide support and advice to customers regarding their insurance policies and coverage.

·      Work collaboratively with team members and other departments to improve processes and

customer experience.

Skills:

·      Previous experience in claims management or customer service within the insurance industry

(general insurance preferred).

·      Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally.

·      Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and stakeholders.

·      High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

·      A solid understanding of insurance principles, policies, and regulatory requirements.

·      Proficiency in using claims management systems and related software.

·      Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Qualifications:

·      A degree in business, finance, insurance, or a related field is preferred but not essential.

·      Industry-related certifications (ANZIIF, CIP)are highly regarded.
