THE OPPORTUNITY
Corporate Development Manager
Responsibilities
- Conduct preparation and review of materials used in the transactions, including investment memoranda, management presentations.
- Prepare and maintain detailed financial models for internal and external purposes
- Work closely with major stakeholders and external advisors on corporate transactions which will include undertaking feasibility studies, due diligence, financial modelling, deal structuring and negotiations as well as managing transaction documentation.
- Work with Investor Relations and other relevant stakeholders to review analysts' reports and update of consensus workings.
- Progress Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports on the financial outcomes of strategic initiatives, including variances and trends.
- Risk Assessment: Evaluate risks associated with potential strategies and M&A activities and advise on risk mitigation measures.
- Update financial model for evaluation of corporate investments and to perform scenario analysis to assist prioritization of M&A deals, which could include developing/ review of asset level financial models and working with the regional teams/ business units to evaluate potential transactions from strategic and operational perspectives.

- Undertaking various adhoc projects as required to support the CIO and senior leadership team
- Collaborating with Divisional Leads and the respective financial teams to develop and maintain annual budgets and monthly reforecasts.
- KPIs and Metrics: Assist in establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics (company scorecard with lead and lag indicators) to measure the effectiveness of strategic initiatives and the impact of acquisitions.
- Identify and execute development site transactions.
- Assist with coordination of the internal approvals process.
- Design, develop and maintain the Group M&A framework, including SOP, modelling templates and investment review metrics to assist senior management in decision making.
