Capital Transactions Manager

Transaction execution
  • Oversee the end-to-end process of transactions, including due diligence, financial modeling, negotiation, and closing.
  • Managing multiple projects and deadlines
  • Conduct preparation and review of materials used in the transactions, including investment memoranda, management presentations.
  • Identify and execute development site transactions.
  • Assist with coordination of the internal approvals process.
  • Managing comprehensive and complete due diligence processes to execute the acquisition and divestment of assets.
  • Assisting with any special projects or undertaking any other duties as reasonably required.
  • Liaising and developing relationships with all internal stakeholders, including the EBFM SLT, and the asset management teams of all asset classes in order to identify opportunities within the existing EB passive portfolios and potential development opportunities.
Portfolio management
  • Manage a portfolio of properties, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with investment strategies.
  • Assisting Senior Management in the assessment and implementation of new business opportunities including M&A activity and product development, debt and capital management and corporate projects (e.g., budgets, redevelopment, etc) as required.
  • Assisting the Capital Transactions team to advise the Energy Bay business on asset strategy, including the identification of appropriate target markets and opportunities for acquisitions, leasing and divestment ranging all asset classes.
Market research
  • Conduct market research to identify investment opportunities, assess risk, and stay informed about industry trends.
  • Update financial model for evaluation of corporate investments and to perform scenario analysis to assist prioritization of potential investments, which could include developing/ review of asset level financial models and working with the divisional teams/ business units to evaluate potential transactions from strategic and operational perspectives.
Reporting
  • Provide regular updates and reports on the financial outcomes of strategic initiatives, including variances and trends, portfolio performance, and market updates.
  • Preparation of Investment Committee Papers
  • Prepare and maintain detailed financial models for internal and external purposes.
Relationship building
  • Work closely with major stakeholders and external advisors on corporate and asset transactions which will include undertaking feasibility studies, due diligence, financial modelling, deal structuring and negotiations as well as managing transaction documentation.
  • Cultivate relationships with investors, brokers and other industry professionals
Risk management
  • Evaluate risks associated with potential strategies and investment opportunities.
  • Mitigate risks associated with transactions by assessing legal, financial, and market-related factors.
