Our client is a corporate specialising in financing, constructing, and managing renewable energy infrastructure for key players in Australia's commercial and industrial sectors.

The role will contribute to the group's growth strategies through identification and execution of development site opportunities. This involves analysing and evaluating the financial transactions and investment opportunities for the business. Conducting due diligence on potential investment opportunities and preparing financial models and projections, providing recommendations to senior management on investment decisions.
  • Building financial models to analyse investment and development opportunities.
  • Gaining a full understanding of all the underwriting assumptions and testing these to optimise returns.
  • Preparation of Institutional Investment Committee documents.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed financial models for internal and external purposes.
  • Deal administration and assisting the acquisition and sales process as required.
  • Progress Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports on the financial outcomes of strategic initiatives, including variances and trends.
  • Assisting when required on Asset Management and Development matters including strategic asset or development plans, undertaking analysis, internal valuations and budgeting.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market analysis, competitor assessments, and industry trend monitoring to identify growth opportunities and competitive advantages.
  • Risk Assessment: Evaluate risks associated with potential strategies and M&A activities and advise on risk mitigation measures.
  • Ensure models agree to the approved investment committee papers and executed legal documents.
  • Undertaking various adhoc projects as required to support the CIO and senior leadership team.
  • Due Diligence: Support due diligence processes for potential acquisitions, ensuring comprehensive evaluations of financial, legal, operational, and cultural aspects.
  • KPIs and Metrics: Assist in establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics (company scorecard with lead and lag indicators) to measure the effectiveness of strategic initiatives and the impact of acquisitions
  • Identify and execute development site transactions
  • Assist with coordination of the internal approvals process
