Our client is an impact investor with the purpose of supporting the global transition to net zero emissions by accelerating the pace of pre-commercial innovation. Over more than 10 years it has supported more than 100+ projects in Australia and deployed more than $2bn.
  
The focus areas include (but are not limited to) carbon neutral fuels, carbon neutral or low emission metal production, renewable hydrogen, various forms of energy storage, distributed energy (smart grids)/community batteries, repurposing transport fleets.
  

• Producing analysis, corresponding due diligence, risk assessment and investment committee papers for potential projects and corporates that align with the focus areas of the fund.
• Comprehensive commercial analysis of market potential of Projects or investments.
• Preparation of internal, and due diligence and reviewing of external, project financial models, with particular focusing on the corporate assumptions and capital structure.
• Validating key technical assumptions via external due diligence.
• Assisting the negotiating of key funding terms.

  
To be successful, you will have 2-4 years experience, preferably in Corporate Finance/M&A, Infrastructure Advisory, Transaction Services, Deals Modelling/Valuations. You will have had experience with infrastructure, renewables or potentially mining.
